2012 North American Basque Organizations Facilitator Application

Those interested in applying for the Facilitator position should fill out and submit the form below. The Facilitator is our administrative advisor. They help when needed with the behind the scenes running of N.A.B.O. Some of the duties of Facilitator include:

__ Multi-lingual: As information comes to N.A.B.O. in three languages, it is helpful for the Facilitator to be fluent in English, Spanish and/or Basque
__ Familiarity with N.A.B.O. inner workings: The Facilitator needs to have a good working knowledge of NABO so that they can quickly answer questions that arise.
__ Webmaster: updating of N.A.B.O. website
__ Regular communications: Putting out the weekly Astero Basque updates
__ Helping with internal communication between N.A.B.O. members
__ International communication with the Basque Government & Basque Diaspora
__ writing and submitting grants for N.A.B.O.
__ Resourceful--you'll be tasked with various projects that you'll need to see through creation and distribution; e.g., see Kantuketan Exhibit Photo Exhibits Song booklet: "Hi Kantari" GUREA Cultural Literacy Youth program assistance
__ Aiding in the ongoing formulation and implementation of Four year plan
__ Coordination of N.A.B.O. conference meetings
__ Assisting N.A.B.O. chairpersons when requested
__ Resposibility for meeting equipment and delegate handouts

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION IS BASED ON FUNDING BY THE BASQUE GOVERNMENT. THE FACILITATOR IS PAID ONLY ONCE THE FUNDS ARE RECEIVED, BUT IS EXPECTED TO WORK THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
