PURPOSE: RATIONALE FOR ACCREDITATION
The ACTS Teacher Certification Program is administered by the International Association of Apostolic Educators and is designed to certify teachers for the Christian education ministry.  ACTS strongly encourages all teachers to become certified and then to renew their credentials every three years.  Administrators of Apostolic schools are encouraged to hire certified teachers and to promote the continuing education and re-certification for all teachers in order to achieve school accreditation and assure sound education for students.
The Association of Christian Teachers and Schools certifies teachers at 2 levels based on their education, experience, adherence to the Apostolic doctrine and their philosophy of education.  Active school teachers may apply for either the status of Associate Teacher or Professional Teacher.  The professional certification is renewable every three (3) years.
Applicants should document their teaching experience, attendance in educational workshops, clinics, seminars, and conventions and all formal course work to earn credit toward re- certification.


STEPS TO BECOMING CERTIFIED WITH IAAE:

This Application for Certification is divided into six sections and is designed to document and meet all teacher certification needs.

2.  Indicate the purpose of the application with a check mark, then fill in the required sections.
3.  Request for professional and spiritual character recommendation letters to be sent to IAAE.UPCI@gmail.com
4.  Email college transcripts, high schhool diploma or other documentary evidence for college credits, memberships, experience, permits, certificates, certifications, special skills or other achievements to  IAAE.UPCI@gmail.com
5.  Submit fees. Fees are non-refundable and should be submitted at the following link:

Applications not accompanied by the required fee will not be processed.
6. If approved, a certificate suitable for display, will be sent to the applicant.
