757Breastfeeds is seeking volunteers to assist with our 5th Annual Breastfeeding Bash!
The Breastfeeding Bash is a family-friendly event that we host every year in celebration of National Breastfeeding Month. We partner with local lactation, maternal health, and child health organizations to offer a fun morning of education, resource sharing and summer games and activities. The Bash will take place on Saturday August 9th from 9am-12pm at Old Dominion University Webb Center & Kaufman Mall (1301 W 49th St, Norfolk, VA 23529).
**Please read the information below**
- This year we will be hosting a hybrid event, with activities taking place inside the Webb Center and outside at the Kaufman Mall. If the weather is not ideal, we will notify you in advance of any changes to the event.
- You will receive a confirmation email when your application has been reviewed.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- All volunteers are expected to attend a vendor meeting (tentatively scheduled for the first week of August) to discuss final logistics. This meeting will also allow volunteers an opportunity to meet one another and learn more about their roles before the event.
- Shifts of volunteers will be needed for set-up (8:00am - 9am), the event itself (9:00am - 12:00pm), and tear-down (12:00pm - 1:00pm).
- As promotional content is released, we ask all volunteers to share the flyers with their networks to raise community awareness of the event.
