Thank you for inquiring about the volunteer opportunities with the American Chemical Society at the University of Houston!
ACS Tutors gain valuable experience supporting their peers and gain volunteer hours for resumes and/or further schooling applications. Even better, you reinforce your knowledge and understanding in the process.
ACS Tutors can also receive an hour verification form at the end of the semester. The form includes your start and end tutoring dates, the subject(s) you tutored, and your volunteer hours. This can be for a semester total or for a cumulative total of your hours.
