IFLA 2017 Satellite Meeting in Vilnius (Lithuania): The Genealogy and Local History Section joint with Asia and Oceania and Information Technology Section
Main topic: "The Challenge of Multiple Identities. Multiethnicity in Genealogy, Local History and Regional Memory - Challenges and Opportunities for Libraries and other Memory Institutions"
The Genealogy and Local History Section (GENLOC) joint with Asia and Oceania and Information Technology Section, invite proposals for papers to be presented at this meeting.
Proposals must be submitted by 18 March 2017; selections will be made by early April and selected authors will be contacted with further information.
While the session will use a lightning talk model, completed papers are still expected. All accepted will be published in the IFLA document library.
At least one of the authors must be present in Vilnius.
All expenses, including travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the authors/presenters. No financial support can be provided by IFLA, but a special invitation letter can be issued to authors.
