Please fill out and submit this form if you are interested in providing volunteer support during any of the days of the New York Immigration Coalition's Key to the City event on October 21 -25, 2015. This multi-day event will provide consular ID information and services; information about various social, educational, health, financial resources; and on the final day - "Family Resource Day" - a free legal clinic.

The NYIC needs the following types of volunteers for the event:
OUTREACH VOLUNTEERS
to distribute flyers in commercial areas near the location of Key to the City
LOGISTICS VOLUNTEERS
to support registration, ushering and interpretation at Key to the City. Must be fluent in Spanish.
LEGAL CLINIC VOLUNTEERS
to provide legal screenings and/or consultations; to provide interpretation at the legal clinic. To provide services around legal screenings and/or consultations, you must be an immigration attorney, immigration paralegal, a general attorney/paralegal, a BIA accredited individual or a law student. Fluency in Spanish is a requirement for all legal clinic volunteers.
The New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) will manage the legal clinic, and will supervise all legal service volunteers and legal service interpreters. NYLAG legal clinic training materials are available at:
