In 2015 a group of therapy clients disappeared without a trace. The case remains unsolved, but in occult circles it is whispered the group had fallen into Pan’s realm. This is the story of what happened.
Pan is a psychological horror scenario dealing with the themes of identity, nature and sexuality. Players play couples attending a relationship therapy for the weekend. The therapist-couple use a mixture of classical techniques and esoteric methods. Perhaps you will get the spark back in your relationship, perhaps you will reach a higher understanding of yourself and your partner, or perhaps the veil that we call ‘reality’ will be lifted and you will be exposed to the terror that dwells in the secret place of life, the secret forces which lie at the heart of all, your most secret fantasy and worst nightmare.
Pan is a small intimate larp for only a handful of players. It is for players that want to be scared, to have an intense experience with a small group, and have a fantastic experience tackling horror seriously. It is a mixture of gothic horror based on classic literature, and psychological horror, with a modern setting.

Language:
English is the ‘default’ language of the larp during play, and all off-game content will be in English. Finnish and international players are welcome, and characters will be adapted to the nationality of the player. You don’t have to pass as a native English speaker.
Character casting:
Players are encouraged but not required to sign up in pairs, to play an in-game couple (of any gender combination). It is strongly recommended you do not play with a real life partner or ex-partner for this. It's also fine to sign up by yourself and be matched up by us, but we may priortise players who have booked with a friend to play an in-game couple. Characters have a range of sexualities.
We have pre-written roles used in the previous runs. You get your role and your in-game partner’s role well before the larp and after you have paid. Together you can work on expanding your characters. During the game you’ll get to play with all the other characters.

Pan is a psychological horror larp about the themes of identity, nature and sexuality. It may well include playing on lust, desire, passion and selfish enjoyment. You as the player must be ready to play on these themes in an adult and sensible way. If you are not confident with sensually intimate and passionate scenarios do not play Pan. This larp does not include actual real life sex, but it is intimate and not suited to players uncomfortable with physical contact. We will cover this in the pre-game workshop, including use of safe words.
