Comprehensive Pre-Assessment
On the first day of coaching, I will conduct a comprehensive pre-assessment that evaluates key areas such as critical thinking, reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, and vocabulary. This initial assessment is an essential tool for gaining an in-depth understanding of your child's current academic abilities. By thoroughly analyzing their performance across these core subjects, I can pinpoint their strengths and identify any areas where they may need additional support. This approach enables me to create a highly personalized lesson plan that not only addresses any gaps in learning but also builds on their existing strengths. My goal is to foster their confidence and skills in a way that encourages long-term growth and success. With this customized roadmap in place, your child will receive targeted instruction designed to help them excel academically, while also nurturing their unique talents and potential.

Throughout my 22-year career as a professional writing coach, I have successfully coached students in Advanced Placement (AP) classes, helped them gain admission to Ivy League schools such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, the University of Pennsylvania, and MIT, and guided them in earning thousands of dollars in scholarships. My students have gone on to attend some of the most prestigious universities in the world, with their education expenses significantly offset by scholarship awards.

Elementary school students: $80 per hour
Tailored to provide foundational skills, personalized attention, and encouragement to help your child build confidence and excel in their early academic journey.
Middle school students: $90 per hour
Focused on fostering growth, critical thinking, and academic development during these formative years, while preparing your child for the challenges of high school.
High school students: $100 per hour
Comprehensive coaching aimed at helping your child achieve academic success, improve study habits, and prepare for college readiness, while addressing the specific needs of high school coursework.
Advanced preparation (AP courses, Highschool Admissions, College Admissions, ISEE Standardized Test, College Preparation Guidance, and Scholarship applications/Essay): $155 per hour
I offer Advanced College Preparation Coaching to help students excel in academics and navigate the competitive college admissions process. With my guidance, students can strategically select and master AP courses to build a strong academic profile. I provide expert college admissions coaching, assisting with personal statements, supplemental essays, and application strategies. My ISEE standardized test preparation equips students with essential test-taking skills to maximize their scores. I also offer college preparation guidance, helping students develop a well-rounded resume with leadership roles, extracurriculars, and volunteer work. Each session is tailored to individual needs, whether it's improving test performance, refining writing skills, or strengthening applications. My one-on-one approach ensures personalized feedback and strategic planning to enhance college acceptance chances.

Terms and Conditions
To secure a coaching spot, a $200 deposit is required at the time of registration. This deposit guarantees your place in the program and prevents it from being offered to another family on the waitlist. Due to the limited number of spots and the planning involved, the deposit is nonrefundable, even if circumstances change. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Cancellation, Credit, and Make-Up Session Policy
Credits or refunds are not issued after payment has been received. All payments are final. Any class that is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time will not receive a credit, refund, or transfer to another student. Make-up sessions are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. However, weekend make-up sessions may be available at the following rates: $120 for elementary students, $130 for middle school students, and $140 for high school students. Families are encouraged to plan ahead and communicate early regarding any potential scheduling conflicts.
