Mining for Talent
“Mining for Talent” is a field trip opportunity developed for high school science students. As a participant in the program, you will have the opportunity to tour the Colorado School of Mines campus, visit state-of-the-art labs to understand the kind of research currently being done by students and professors at Mines, AND you will get hands-on experience participating in lab investigations that will teach you techniques used in the earth sciences.

There are 40 spots available for this field trip, which is absolutely free, including lunch. Complete the application below, including a persuasive paragraph responding to the prompt below. Only complete applications will be considered.
