For more than a decade, the Summer Bridge has engaged students in an immersive STEM experience at Radford University. We are still finalizing the curriculum for this summer, but will have a broad range of STEM experiences.
Our plan for 2025 is for a five day, residential program held on the campus of Radford University. July 13th -18th.
Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of STEM activities inside and outside the classroom and will explore regional and area businesses related to Science and Technology.
Scholarships are available to cover the cost of the program leaving only transportation to and from Radford as the student/family responsibility.

The Radford University Artis College of Science and Technology Summer Bridge Program: WOMEN IN STEM serves rising sophomore, junior, and senior high school students by facilitating a week of exploration in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) from Virginia and other states. The Summer Bridge Program upholds the Radford University Artis College of Science and Technology (RUACSAT) commitment to enhancing science education and to increasing the number of women in STEM fields. The Summer Bridge Program is not limited to female participants and any rising sophomore, junior, and senior high school student interested in Women in STEM is invited to apply.
