Days: Sundays, from 7 - 9 pm, starting on Sun 8th January 2023.
Dates: There will be 6 classes: 08, 15, 22, 29 Jan; 5, 12 Feb, 2023
Location: Art Studio in the Island Recreation Club (IRC).
Cost: The total cost for all 6 classes is 400 SAR, plus approximately 250 SAR for all materials, so you will pay up to 600 SAR in CASH on the first day for the 6 week workshop.
Teacher: Felix Corteza, (known as Cocoy), is an art teacher from the Philippines with a passion for oil painting. He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts and Design (PWU-IFAD), in Manila, and has worked with several major painters in the Philippines. He has had several exhibitions of his work internationally, and was a winner in the KAUST Sustainability art competition in 2022. Materials: All materials, including canvasses, oil paints, linseed oil and brushes can be bought from the Art Club on the first day. (If you already have your own materials please bring them.)
Participants: Beginner and intermediate oil painting artists who are adult KAUST residents and Secondary School students.
Registration: Please complete the Google Form (below) and submit it. You will receive confirmation later.
