Bus transportation is provided to all resident students of the School District of Elmbrook. This form may be used to request changes to bus routes and stops, report concerns you may have with your child's bus route or transportation, or cancel bus service.
Bus stops are placed at corner locations, and the maximum walking distances for students are as follows:
Grades 4K through 5 - 1/8 mile
Grades 6 through 8 - 1/4 mile
Grades 9 through 12 - 3/8 mile
- The above maximum walking distances do not apply to students living on cul-de-sacs and dead-end streets.
- Buses pass many family's homes, however, to keep routes efficient and consistent for all families, we are unable to change stops to home addresses.
- Special effort will be made to place pickup and drop off bus stops in view of kindergarten student's home.
- You may request a change to the daily schedule, however, it must be consistent every week.
- Requests will be evaluated based on factors including (but not limited to) district policy, bus capacity and safety considerations.
- Approved requests are updated on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
