Submit an event flyer to the Media Team for publication in Talewinds and other SCA communication platforms (print and online).
Event announcements should be reviewed and submitted by the Seneschal of the sponsoring group before submission.
Event announcements need to be submitted as a standard text
listing containing the required information. Announcements should
be submitted as early as possible to allow for corrections and more
advertising for your event. Announcements must be created following
the checklist below.
All event announcements at
which any official business will occur must contain the following
information:
- Name event and the sponsoring group.
- Date of the event.
- Event site location including name and address.
- Time the event site opens and closes to the public.
- Registration open and closing times.
- Name (mundane and SCA) mailing address, e-mail address, and
telephone number of the Reservation Steward.
- Name (mundane and SCA), e-mail address, and phone number
for the Event Steward
- Names (mundane and SCA), e-mail address, and phone number for the Marshal in Charge and Ranger in Charge
- SCA Corporate Anti-Bullying policy
- Site registration pricing and payment information.
- OPTIONAL: Description of the event activities.
In order to comply with Kingdom Laws and Policies, unless otherwise
stated, the following standard event policies will automatically apply to
all events submitted and held within the Kingdom of Trimaris.
• No family shall pay more than the equivalent of three (3) adult
site fees. Family is defined as adults and their minor children. This
applies to site fees only and does not include feast or cabin space.
• Unless otherwise noted, site fees for children 12 and under
are free.
• The SCA member discount for site registration shall not exceed
$10 per person.
