Mission: The Idaho Film Collection supports scholarly research and creative activities in film, photography and media studies as these relate to and/or benefit Idaho and the Northwest. IFC supports the activities of filmmakers, photographers and scholars in related fields, as well as public screenings, exhibitions and festivals.
Applicants: Current Boise State University undergraduate and graduate students can apply for film and photography grants. Film, experimental video and photography projects are all eligible. We run two grant cycles yearly with applications due October 15 and March 15 every year. Grants range from $200-$500.
Film, experimental video and photography projects are all eligible. A student’s project will be considered in any stage of the creative process though it should be clearly developed. Students are strongly encouraged to review their proposal and budget with their film / photography instructor(s) before submitting their documents. Proposals will be reviewed as expeditiously as possible with notification provided usually within two weeks.
This is an application for STUDENTS ONLY. If you are a Scholar, Photographer or Filmmaker who is not a Boise State student, please return to the website for the correct form. You must respond to all required questions. If required items are missing, your application will not be considered.
Please contact Dr. Mariah Devereux Herbeck (devereuxherbeck@boisestate.edu) if you have any questions.
