Talking About Your UU '23

“What exactly is Unitarian Universalism? Can you say you believe anything you want?”

In this three session class you will develop your own brief response to have at the ready for questions like this one. In the first session we will look inward and explore what Unitarian Universalism means to us personally. In the second session we will look outward and consider what makes Unitarian Universalism unique and what it has to offer the world. After these explorations, each participant will prepare (at home) a short response to have on hand when someone asks about Unitarian Universalism. In the final session, we will share and hone our UU “elevator speeches.”

November 5: What does UU mean to you?

November 12: What makes UU unique and what does it offer the world?

November 19: Sharing our brief "elevator speeches" with each other.
