Emergent Expression(s) Workshop Series

Welcome to the private prototype run of EMERGENT EXPRESSION(S), an intimate practice group focused on healing our relationships with our creative selves, freeing ourselves from extractive systems and cultures, and cultivating resilience to show up for what’s trying to emerge within each of us. This is a call to fall back in love with our own artistry as an act of radical imagination and collective empowerment.

Emergent Expressions is a multi-platform journey with many ways to engage with us, from the lighter-touch to the deep-dive. Curated by Bristol Baughan, Robert Sinclair, and Evan Walsh with support from Dot Connector Studio, this journey weaves together the communities we steward both individually and collectively.

You can come play with us in the following ways:

I: Join the workshops: We’re hosting 3 pay-what-you-wish online workshops on Fridays May 17, May 31, and June 7 from 12:00 ET - 1:30 ET. Our workshops merge worldbuilding, botany, futurism, creative production, and somatics. We will lead participants through a series of meditations, writing prompts, community-building and personal transformation exercises, curated talks, and intimate breakout groups around the concepts of regenerative ways of being and creating. Our workshops have a 40 person cap per session.

II. Follow along and participate in our Substack: We’re crafting a private, co-created Substack that weaves together a newsletter and a writing platform, where you can follow along the journey with us. Receive dispatches on the workshops and other illuminations from our collective consciousness, communicate with each other, and share your own emergent expressions in a trusted environment.

III. Evolve the Practice with us: This is a prototype run that we hope will evolve into a continuing cohort, aligned with our goal to cultivate a year-long journey in 2025. Enjoy the ride with us as we co-create this practice and community and explore what form it might take in the future.
