Chad Van Horn, Esq., founder of Van Horn Law Group, P.A., has set up the Debra Van Horn Scholarship to honor his mother, a single mom who worked diligently to bring up her sons with little outside assistance. To celebrate her accomplishments and to give back to the community, Van Horn is in the process of launching the Debra Van Horn Scholarship, a renewable $2,500 scholarship for Broward College students.
 
American Dream Scholarships are awarded to Broward College students who have completed 75% of their degree program and maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. This scholarship program gives students a leg up at a key point in their college career and on their pathway to living the American Dream.
 
Supporting students in need lines up with the work of Van Horn Law Group. The Van Horn Law Group team meets regularly with clients burdened with heavy student loan debt and understands the sometimes overwhelming financial hardship that accompany the pursuit of higher education. By offering these scholarships, Van Horn and his team hope to promote learning, encourage community involvement, and assist students who otherwise would not pursue or complete their higher education degrees.  Check back here for application information.
