As a 100% volunteer-led organization, we rely on dedicated, community-minded individuals like you to help us continue empowering Latino students across Fairfield County through access to higher education.

Current Volunteer Board Opportunities:
All positions are volunteer-based and unpaid.
📌 Time Commitment:

Monthly Board Meetings: Held every third Tuesday from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
(In person in Danbury, or via Zoom)

Annual Gala & Scholarship Ceremony: Mandatory attendance in July of each year.

Estimated Time Commitment: ~4–6 hours per month

Additional Participation: Board members may also be asked to attend or assist with:

Fundraisers or LSF-sponsored events

Student workshops or mentorship sessions

Community outreach and service initiatives
Your involvement helps us stay active, visible, and impactful within the communities we serve.

Volunteering, donating, or participating in the Latino Scholarship Fund does not influence scholarship award decisions.
All scholarships are awarded based on our application process and the independent evaluation of our Selection Committee.
