The Spirit of the ADA Nonprofit/Governmental Program of the Year Award recognizes the efforts of a nonprofit or government agency that goes above and beyond their typical obligations to ensure that individuals with disabilities are given equal access to and a fair opportunity to participate in the broader community.

Nominations should focus on specific actions taken to make the community more accessible for people with disabilities in the Coastal Bend and/or efforts on behalf of the disabilities community in general
