I understand that this request is just one of many variables that may be considered in the grouping/assigning of students for instructional purposes. Other factors include work habits, ability, special individual and building needs, and the balance of boys and girls. Fluctuations in enrollment may create the need to increase or decrease class size. For these reasons, I understand that the total educational program must have the highest priority, and the final determination of classroom placement is the responsibility of the building principal.
