Our PTO is a vibrant body with an active involvement in the activities of the CAC community.  Our activities enhance learning, growth, multiculturalism, positive bonding and of course, fun. ES Halloween Carnival - 30 October 2025
The Halloween Carnival is an afternoon of fun for the Elementary School with a Trick or Treat lane, a Haunted House, a carnival with fun games, arts and crafts and so much more.  We need a Halloween Carnival committee head, decoration volunteers, carnival game prep volunteers and volunteers to man the games the day of the carnival.  
Faculty and Staff Appreciation - 21 November 2023
In recognition of the commitment of our faculty and staff, and for all of their hard work, the PTO a Thanksgiving luncheon to tell them, "thank you".  If you would like to show your appreciation, please join the head of this committee in the organization and set up of the event.
The Winter Bazaar - 5 December 2025
We need volunteers getting vendors for the Christmas booth and help them setup.
International Festival Carnival Committee - 16 March 2024
This one-day carnival showcases the diversity that is CAC! A lot of work goes into prepping for this CAC tradition. We are looking for volunteers to help with the organization and planning of the carnival, collecting raffle prize baskets and more!

International Festival Booth Volunteer - 13 February 2026
This is a one-day carnival that showcases the diversity that is CAC!  Join members of your native country to bring your foods, traditions, costumes, games and more to CAC.  Volunteers design, organize, set up and work in a booth representing their homeland.  Please check the box if you are interested in joining your country at this event.  You will feel a surge of pride in representing your country, and also enjoy the features of other booths.  Time commitment depends on you and your team, and how well you want to represent your country;  most of the work takes place from January to March. Some short meetings to attend. If interested, which country are you representing?
Welcome Committee - all year round
This committee welcomes new families and helps them settle into CAC and Cairo through a host system, and a series of informative and fun events.  As a host, you will greet new families as they arrive before and during the school year and introduce them to and familiazire them with CAC and Cairo.  We also need help organizing the committee's functions, like the Welcome Back Coffee.  If you recall your own challenges in settling into new surroundings, please join this committee.  Your time commitment will be up to 2 hours a week, depending on the time of year.
The PTO Calendars - June to August each year
Our calendar will help you stay organized through its detailed listings of CAC activities and events as well as Egyptian and American holidays.  Help us design, write, print, and sell our calendars at the beginning of each year.  If you have a keen eye for editing and can work from home on a computer, please join us.
Ticket Sellers - at some events
Help sell tickets at a range of events throughout the school year, you choose which events suit you!
May we contact you if we need general volunteers for a specific event?
