Desired Candidate profile:
• Excellent English skills (verbal & Written) and an eye for detail are essential / responsible for copyediting of journal articles / books with high emphasis on quality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Enthusiastic learner and passion for reading / editing
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts (no night shifts for women)  
• Candidates with no arrears and should be with at least 60% of marks

Training process:
• Will undergo two months intensive classroom training in copyediting & four months on-the-job training (after classroom training)
• Need to perform well in the tests at the end of every week, during training  
• At the end of the third month (2 months class-room training and 1 month on-the-job training), trainees will be evaluated and positioned @ Level-1 / 2 / 3 / 4 appropriately, based on their performance    
• Compensation will also be increased in line with the levels          

Preferred Educational Qualification:
BE / B. Tech: Biotechnology, Biomedical, Bioinformatics, and Chemical | ME / M. Tech: Biotechnology, Biomedical, Bioinformatics and Chemical | M. Sc: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics and Maths |
MA English | M. Pharm | Ph. D / M. Phil from Science domain will be highly preferred

Shift timings:


• First Shift      – 6.15 AM – 1.45 PM          
• Second Shift  – 1.45 PM – 9.15 PM          
• General Shift – 9.00 AM – 5.30 PM (Sat is a half working day)          
• Night Shift     – 9.00 PM – 6.00 AM (Not for women | Sat / Sun holiday for men)          
CTC (Cost-to-company) Details:
• Candidates would be recruited only as Level-1 / 2 Copyediting Trainees with a CTC of ` 1.44 Lacs per annum. Their performance would be monitored and graded accordingly during the first 3 months (2 months class-room training and one month on-the-job training)
• Between 3 and 6 months, based on the trainees’ performance, the compensation would be increased as below

o ` 1.5 Lacs for Trainees who are evaluated to be @ Level-1
o ` 1.76 Lacs for Trainees who are evaluated to be @ Level-2
o ` 2.1 Lacs for trainees who are evaluated to be @ Level-3/4
