Zarif & Sophie Bishai Scholarship
The Zarif & Sophie Bishai Scholarship Program is offered to members of the Egyptian Coptic Orthodox church in the area. The  scholarship is awarded in the amount of $1000.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. Applicants must be members of the Egyptian Coptic Orthodox church in the area.
2. Applicants must be accepted to a University related to the medical field: Medical School, Pharmacy, Vet, Dental or  Nursing). Letter of acceptance from the University must be submitted with the scholarship application
3. Applicants must have community and church activities/commitments.

NOTIFICATION OF AWARD

The Scholarship selection committee will schedule an interview with each applicant to discuss his/her personal statement and career goals.
Members of the Scholarship Selection Committee will meet to designate the Scholarship recipient. The Chairperson of the committee, or hi/her designee will notify the recipient and non-recipients no later than July 15, 2017. You will receive notification after the scholarship committee has completed the review process.

APPLICANTS SHOULD SUBMIT THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION BY June 1, 2017.
