Recipients will be selected randomly in a gender-balanced way, based on one pre-selection criterion: availability of funding. We believe that the funding categories we established (see form below) are general enough, but we are also aware that it is difficult to fit perfectly in them. When you apply, try to pick one anyway. You can use the "Statement" form to provide a clarification. 

If you have a travel budget, we kindly ask you not to apply for this scholarship, unless your budget is very limited (see categories in the form). Let's be upfront about this: we will not run any check on the funding category: we don't have the capacity for this and we don't feel it is our role. Most importantly, we trust our applicants. We will however make the list of recipients public.
