❓ Plus de 70 ans après la fin de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, comment parler de l'histoire de la Résistance en France et dans d'autres pays européens ? Avec la disparition des témoins directs, comment maintenir une mémoire de cette époque, et à quelles fins ?
 
📣 Pour discuter de ces questions et pour en savoir plus sur l'histoire de la Résistance à Nice et de sa mémoire, une table ronde sera organisée dans le cadre de la prochaine conférence à Nice du projet international « Wer ist Walter? – Resistance against Nazism in Europe »

🎤 La table ronde réunira Ralph Schor, professeur émérite à l’Université Côte d'Azur, Patrizia Gallo, vice-présidente de l'ANPI Côte d'Azur - Association Nationale des Partisans Italiens, Enzo Barnaba, historien, ainsi que Jean-Marc Giaume, adjoint au maire de Nice et initiateur du projet « circuit de la mémoire ». Elle sera animée par Yvan Gastaut, historien à l'université Côte d'Azur et vice-président du Centre culturel franco-allemand (CCFA) de Nice.

👉 Cette table ronde a lieu dans le cadre du projet "Wer ist Walter? Resistance against Nazism in Europe", organisé par le Centre International de Formation Européenne (Nice), le Musée Historique de Bosnie-Herzégovine, le Mémorial de Jasenovac (Croatie) et crossborder factory (Berlin) et qui vise à développer la connaissance de et la réflexion sur l'histoire et mémoire de la Résistance pendant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale en Allemagne, Bosnie-Herzégovine, Croatie et France. Round table: "Resistance against occupation in Nice during World War 2: From history to testimony"

🕵️‍♀️ More than 70 years after the end of World War 2, how can we talk about the history of the resistance in France and other European countries? With the disappearance of direct witnesses, how can we maintain a memory of this period, and for what purposes?

💭 To discuss these questions and find out more about the history and the memory of the resistance in Nice, this round table will bring together Ralph Schor, professor emeritus at the university of Nice, Patrizia Gallo, the niece of the resistant Salvatore Bono, and Jean-Marc Giaume, deputy mayor of Nice and initiator of the "Memory path" project. It will be chaired by Yvan Gastaut, historian at the University of Nice and vice-president of the CCFA.

Resistance against Nazism in Europe", organised by the Centre International de Formation Européenne (Nice), the Historical Museum of Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Jasenovac Memorial (Croatia) and crossborder factory (Berlin), which aims to develop the knowledge of and the reflection on the history and memory of the resistance during the Second World War in Germany, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and France.
