Stemming from our Friends of Dickinson Square community meeting, many parents brought up really great questions & suggestions related to children's use of the park.

We are so grateful to have a space where kids can play in our neighborhood. We value the parents & caregivers who help keep our park a welcoming & safe space. This Parents Group is born out of an extension of the Friends of Dickinson Square, so that we can directly communicate & work with families.

This Parents Group for parents & caregivers who would like to be more involved with Dickinson Square Park, through volunteer opportunities, info-gathering, and community-building. Working together with Friends of Dickinson Square, our goal is for the park to be a safe, clean, & welcoming space for families.

A volunteer group that the Friends of Dickinson Square can lean on for helping to volunteer for kid-centric events (Halloween, Movie Nights, etc.)

A group that tends to the playground in-between park cleanups, to keep it free from litter/dangerous substances.

A group of parents/caregivers that collectively has a larger voice to Philadelphia elected officials, to advocate & promote safety in and around the park.
