CHS Honorary Alumni Scholarship Application
The Caroline High School Alumni Honorary Scholarship was created to honor community members who are dedicated to serving Caroline, while simultaneously awarding high school seniors with potential to do the same. The scholarship seeks to improve the educational opportunities available to the African-American college bound students graduating from CHS. The scholarship seeks to foster a cycle of giving back to the Caroline community upon graduation from college.

One $500 scholarship will be awarded.

Applications should be submitted and must have a time stamp of 11:59 PM of April 15, 2019. Only electronic submissions will be accepted.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. The student must be a graduating African-American senior of Caroline High School accepted to an accredited four-year college or university.
2. The student should have a 3.0 grade point average or higher.
3. The student must be involved in a sport or club each year of high school.
4. Student must have completed 10 hours of community service throughout high school career or maintained consistent employment.

Application steps:
1. Complete the application below by 11:59 PM of April 15, 2019.
2. Please attach a 250-500 word essay describing yourself, interest, and goals.
3. Provide an email address for two teachers, counselors, coaches, or club sponsors we can contact to complete the character survey.
All three portions of the application must be completed for the application to be deemed accepted. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that the person they choose for the charter survey returns the survey to the committee.
