Additive Manufacturing: potential in Belgium
Additive Manufacturing is gaining recognition as an alternative to conventional manufacturing techniques. Some Belgian firms and universities already played a major role in the development of AM. However, many questions regarding the uptake of these technologies by the Belgian industry and their (growth) potential still exist.

Agoria and PwC are jointly conducting a study regarding Industrial Additive Manufacturing in Belgium that will lead to
(i) new insights about how well AM technologies have (already) penetrated the Belgian industrial world
(ii) the current AS IS and future TO BE situation of Belgian AM players across the value chain
(iii) the detection of possible bottlenecks towards (better) use of AM in the Belgian AM ecosystem
(iv) the identification of potential solutions to overcome these challenges to make the necessary steps forward
