Thank you for your interest in the Pittsburgh County Fair. As a celebration of urban agriculture and environmental responsibility we are strongly prioritizing local, homegrown, handmade, organic, and sustainable projects- though everyone who is interested is encouraged to apply.
If you are interested in participating and do not source locally but would like to, we can help you find connections for this event. If you have an idea but lack the resources to do it, please apply and we'll see what we can do. Anyone interested in being an educational speaker (they are 30-40min sessions) is welcome to use this form to apply to do that as well- a follow up email will reach out for more information.
For any business who is exclusively selling there is a fee of $25 (which goes towards advertising) that will be collected on the day of the event. There is no fee for any one not selling anything as well as any selling vendors who have incorporated an interactive educational aspect to their situation. Please reach out if you have any questions about this to whatsthatsmell@fermentpittsburgh.com. We encourage everyone who can to create an interactive activity. We try to avoid static pamphlet tabling.
