2019 STEMwrite Institute
The 2019 STEMwrite Institute for Writing to Learn in STEM disciplines (University of Minnesota, June 26-28, 2019) invites faculty teams from biological sciences to leverage current research into conceptual gains yielded by brief writing assignments. Working closely with our research group and participating biology faculty from the three institutions, participants will engage in facilitated workshops that focus on the development of writing to learn activities aligned to challenging conceptual knowledge, the integration of online peer review technologies, and the use of student-directed revision plans.

Application deadline: February 1, 2019.
