The Urban Indigo Workforce Google Scholarship is designed to expand access to high-demand digital skills for parents, caregivers, and community members who are historically underrepresented in the tech workforce. Through this scholarship, selected participants will receive support to enroll in Google Career Certificate programs that build practical, job-ready skills in areas such as IT Support, Data Analytics, Project Management, UX Design, Cybersecurity, and more.
Urban Indigo recognizes that families—especially those navigating disability, neurodivergence, and systemic barriers—often face limited access to workforce development opportunities. This scholarship aims to remove financial and structural barriers while empowering participants to gain credentials that can lead to sustainable employment, career advancement, and economic stability.
Priority consideration may be given to:
Urban Indigo Community Members without a degree
Parents and caregivers of children with disabilities or special needs
Special Education Advocates
Applicants committed to completing the program and applying their skills toward meaningful employment or community impact
