Standing up for Science workshop: application form
Sense about Science is running a Standing up for Science media workshop at Wellcome Collection on Wednesday 14 November 2018. This is run as part of our Voice of Young Science network; over 3000 early career researchers from across Europe who are committed to taking an active role in public discussions of science and evidence.

This full day event is FREE and for all STEM and social science early career researchers (PhD students, post-docs or equivalent in first job), trainees, and medical professionals.

Join us to find out how to make your voice heard in public debates about science. Meet researchers who have engaged with the media or politicians, learn from respected science journalists, find out how researchers can inform policymakers, get hints and tips from communications experts, and find out how to involve the public in communicating research.

Complete this form to apply for a free place. For more details, email Sanjana: sanjana@senseaboutscience.org.

Deadline for applications: 12am, Sunday 4 November.
