CSFG Market Sellers Agreement
CSFG is going to Market! That means you can have your stock on our market table at an upcoming event.
Even if you have completed this information for a previous market stall, please do so again. You will have the option to direct us to sell whatever stock we have on hand at the prices you’ve previously indicated.
The CSFG arrangements for market stalls are set out in the Market Stall Vendor and Sales Policy, available on the CSFG websites. The key details are as follows:
- CSFG will organise booking the stall, public liability insurance, set-up and break-down of the stall, and coordinate volunteers to run the stall on the day.
- CSFG will transfer any revenue from the sale of member books, less transaction fees and a 10% commission, within 14 days of the event (unless you have come to a different agreement with us).
- The 10% commission is waived for members who volunteer for at least one two hour shift running the stall.
- Members who wish to have their books sold at the CSFG market stall will provide a stock-list of their books, and any additional copies they wish to provide for sale, at least 7 days ahead of the event.
- Unsold stock from market stalls will be held by CSFG for a short period of time to facilitate returning to members. For interstate members, or in other circumstances, stock may be stored by CSFG with discussion and agreement from the committee.

Stock list information
It’s important we have an up-to-date stock list, so we can sell your books for the correct price. People manning the stall are volunteers, so it takes the pressure off them if all books are easy to find in the sales app. This also makes it easier for us to pay you in a timely manner.
If you’ve completed this form before, and arranged for us to keep your books on hand, you can direct us to sell whatever stock we have on hand at the prices you’ve previously indicated.
If you’re providing us with new stock for the upcoming market, please provide updated information, so we know which books we’ll be selling on the day, and at what price. If you are providing us updated stock, please include every item you would like us to sell (even if you have provided this information before).
From the Market Stall Vendor and Sales Policy:
Guild members can provide a maximum of 3 individual titles for sale at a CSFG table. These titles must meet the following criteria:
- Standalone works, or works which are the first in a series
- If part of a series, works cannot be isolated from previous titles in a series (for example, a sequel without the prequel also present on the table)
- Are not titles which might bring disrepute to CSFG, or would be in breach of our code of conduct
Members can provide a maximum of 12 books per day of event. Provision of more than 12 books per day of event must be discussed with the committee ahead of the event.
If stock provided is not a book, but other forms of merchandise, please discuss directly with the committee. CSFG welcomes diverse stock for the table, however space and display arrangements dictate how much we can take.
