Registration for the Mentoring/ Networking Lunch for Emerging Scholars at the 2018 National Research Conference on Early Childhood (and an optional, expanded set of mentoring activities)
We are excited to offer a free Mentoring/Networking Lunch at the 2018 National Research Conference on Early Childhood (NRCEC). The lunch will be held on Tuesday, June 26th, 2018 from 12:00 to 1:15 pm at the Crystal Gateway Marriott. Those emerging scholars (e.g., undergraduate & graduate students, postdocs and/or early career researchers) who are interested in participating in this lunch event will be matched with leading researchers in the field, based upon their area of research interests and expressed professional development needs. There is no cost to participate in this event. Due to limited space, registration is on a first come, first serve basis, so register soon!

There also will be an opportunity for a smaller group of emerging scholars and mentors to engage in an optional, expanded set of more tailored mentoring activities prior to, and following the research conference.

Both the lunch and the expanded mentoring activities are hosted by the National Research Center on Hispanic Children & Families, along with our co-sponsors from the Foundation for Child Development, the HighScope Educational Research Foundation, Child Care Aware, the Brady Education Foundation, and the Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network (HITN).

Additional details regarding these two sets of mentoring activities are provided on the following pages.
