Mason MFA Alumni Survey
Dear Creative Writing Alumni,

Over the last year-and-half, CW leadership, administration, and faculty have explored new strategies to attract writers to and usher them through the MFA program. Such efforts have included a revised MFA Student Handbook, an equitable process for students to request support from the program, the introduction of Graduate Professional Assistantships to complement teaching assistantships, and a revamped website with an eye squarely on recruitment (check it out at creativewriting.gmu.edu).

Now, at last, we can turn attention to the program's most important asset, you, its foremost ambassadors.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to this survey. We are eager to hear about your experiences in the program, your creative achievements since graduation, and the professional directions you have taken. Your feedback is vital as we work to develop programs and services designed to benefit Mason's community of MFA alumni. We are also creating a new space to showcase alumni on the website, so if you are able to reply to this survey before the new year, we'll be working on that effort during Winter Break.

Additionally, as we move into celebrating the MFA program's 40th anniversary in 2020-21, we will be curating events such as readings, workshops, and socials. News will be sent out through the MFA Alumni LISTSERV, so if you are not yet subscribed to it, please follow the directions later in the survey to make sure you don't miss out on any updates!

~With Gratitude~
