French Assistant Application
GENERAL INFORMATION: One student will be appointed as French Assistant for the 2016-2017 academic year. This position will provide a maximum of five hours of work per week at an hourly salary of $9.00.  In addition, some applicants may be appointed to work on an on-call basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The French Assistant works with the French Tutors to provide individual and small-group tutoring for any student who wishes it.
The French Assistant should have established weekly hours that are publicized, and also be available by appointment.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The French Assistant must have command of grammar and vocabulary, ability to explain or guide the process of translating and familiarity with the material covered in French tutorials.
Must be able to work well independently and with others.
Must be reliable and professional.
