Musical Artists! Thank you for your dedication to music. This event was created to support the music scenes in Grand Haven, Albion, and the White Lake Area, and we are grateful for what you do! This year we are booking as follows for each member city.

To participate in any Walk The Beat Street Festival, all artists must first fill out the form below. We will accept applications until we pick all the acts, so send us your applications as soon as you can.

BEST ARTIST CONTEST
(THIS INCLUDES SOLOISTS, DUETS, AND BANDS)
Throughout each of the three events, attendees will be voting for their favorite artist. The top artist voted by the public as “best artist” will receive 40 hours of studio time at Third Coast Recording Company. Additionally, each city is offering a unique opportunity:
The winner of the Grand Haven Area best band contest will have the opportunity to play in the Coast Guard Festival Parade in Grand Haven in 2026 for $1,000 as well as for the Eagles during Coast Guard Festival.
The White Lake Area winner will get up to $1500 to participate in the Nuveen Art Center 2026 summer concert series.
The Albion winner will have the opportunity to play at Festival of the Forks which will take place on September 20, 2025. This will be a paying gig for a minimum of $800.
Previous year’s first place winners of Walk the Beat “best artist” are not eligible to win.
ARTIST BENEFITS
THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF BENEFITS EACH PARTICIPATING ARTIST WILL RECEIVE:
$300 per band and $100 per Solo/Duet Artists.
Opportunity to sell merchandise during the event.
Entry for all door prizes (estimated value of up to $8,000).
Opportunity to perform in front of thousands of guests.

A Walk the Beat VIP Party will be held after each event and is exclusive to artists, sponsors, and volunteers.
This event supports local artists and builds community connections. In showcasing the selected talent, Walk The Beat Street Festivals introduce musicians to audiences, industry professionals, and other musicians. Those who book and promote talent are always present. The street festivals are much more than a gig; they remind us of and allow us to enjoy life!.
Walk The Beat will provide the locations, advertising, audience prizes, tents and power for all artists.
