Dear Fifth Grade Families,We have lots of exciting things happening before our year ends. First, we will have a revolutionary war program coming to our classrooms. For the Revolutionary War program, the year is 1776. Students take part in a reenactment of the time, pretending to be soldiers. The cost of this experience is $5 per student.
To celebrate our fifth graders, we will be taking them to Boondocks on May 20th for a day of fun, food, and games. We have access to miniature golf, bumper boats, and laser tag only. However, students may also play in the arcade with money parents have allowed them to bring. PTO has generously offered to share the cost of this event with the students. Students will be responsible for contributing $10 for this event. The cost covers admission to Boondocks, the bus, and lunch. Since part of the venue is outside, please send your child with sunscreen and/or a hat.
Please return the permission slip for the Revolutionary war experience and fees ($5) to your teacher by Monday, April 29th.
