Thanks for your willingness to serve at the 7th Annual Summer Sports Spectacular outreach event on Saturday, May 18th, 2019! Summer Sports Spectacular 2019 will be a fun-filled sports day for children with special needs and their siblings.

Volunteer time commitment is from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm. Snacks, water and lunch will be provided for all volunteers serving at the event.

Volunteers will be assisting in one of the following areas:
-registration
-hospitality/greeter
-sports station volunteer (assisting the children as they participate in that sports station)
-activity zones (these are inside and include crafts, balloon art, face painting, snacks, etc.)

ALL VOLUNTEERS (18 YEARS AND OLDER) INTERACTING DIRECTLY WITH THE CHILDREN MUST HAVE A CLEARED BACKGROUND CHECK THROUGH THE ROCK CHURCH. If you do not have a current background check (within the last year), you can submit your form here: www.sdrock.com/volunteerbackground. Background forms MUST BE SUBMITTED BY MONDAY, MAY 6th in order for us to obtain clearance in time. If you do not have your form submitted in time, you will be able to assist at the event in an area not directly interacting with the children. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation in this!
