As being part of the GRCA Puppy Education/Breeder List my promise shall be as follows:

- A written guarantee is issued with every pup sold, which assures that the pup is in good health, has been examined by a veterinarian and had its first health check (veterinary certificate included); that the pup will be registered and CKC registration certificate will be provided (at no extra cost). Also a clear, written explanation of the breeder's guarantee is to be provided.
- All puppies are raised to ensure proper socialization and evaluation.
- The breeder will provide copies of clearances (for both parents) for hips, eyes, hearts and elbows. 
- If you as the breeder offer "Stud Service" it will only be offered to bitches that meet the same standards required of breeders on the list. 
- All breeders are available for education purposes and will be available to answer any questions that should arise via the general public.

I agree to abide the By-laws and Guidelines for Breeders and Owners of the Golden Retriever Club of Alberta. I understand that the GRCA Puppy Referral person will forward my name, as part of their breeder's list, to the public that requests it. I also understand that this represents the extent of responsibility undertaken by the GRCA, as it pertains to this agreement. Type full name below to indicate your agreement.

Important Note: Effective January 2007, for first time applicants, you must obtain a mentor and a sponsor. The sponsor has to be a GRCA member that is currently on the puppy education/breeder's list or has been on the list within the last five years. 

Before being accepted for the Breeder's List you must i) be a GRCA member in good standing for a minimum of two calendar years beginning in January, ii) you must be a CKC member in good standing, and iii) you must agree to abide by the GRCA Guidelines for Breeders and Owners. Also: The Membership Secretary must receive your renewal by January 31, of the current year in order for you to be included on the current years Breeders' List. No exceptions. Also, no one will be added or deleted to/from the list after January 31. 

Effective January 2010, to list a litter with puppy referral you will have to send a copy of all clearances (eyes, hips, heart and elbows) on both parents, along with a $5 charge to the puppy referral representatives (either north or south).
