CSA Fall 2017 Sign-Ups
This season, we will be partnering with Community Foodworks, which is a market and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) provider based out of DC that subsidizes the prices of CSAs for shoppers in DC and Virginia using SNAP and WIC vouchers (foodstamps). Their CSA model promotes holistic equity by making local, fresh food accessible for low-income residents of DC and VA, while also supporting small farms directly.

Shares will be delivered weekly on Thursday afternoons at the garden (2350 H Street NW or across from Amsterdam Hall) beginning September 28 and ending December 4 (for 9 total deliveries). There will be no deliveries for the week of Oct 9 to account for Fall Break and Nov 20 during Thanksgiving Break.

One-time payments for the entire CSA are due to the GroW Garden via the Center for Student Engagement (CSE) either in-person or online by September 14. Remember, paying for your entire semester of groceries at once gives farmers security and allows them to plan for the year. And although the full amount might seem like a lot, your weekly amount is undoubtedly less than you would pay buying this amount of fresh food from the grocery store!
