The preliminary application is for a coaching position. The ADDITIONAL positions are on the second page. You can apply to ANY, ALL, or NONE of the additional positions.

Positions Available:

Coach- Volunteer who goes to school once a week to help the kids.
Works under the head coach, but can provide ideas and plans.

Head Coach- Responsible for designing plan for each week (1-2 days per week)
Responsible for adhering to their particular students’ needs and teaching accordingly.
Responsible for developing unique and fun ways of teaching the material coordinated by the subject coordinators.
Responsible for organizing the coaches at said school.

Question Writer-  Work closely with the Subject Coordinator in each respective subject to write questions to create a question bank. This question bank will be used to supply questions for weekly lessons as well as competitions as we begin hosting them down the road. Members will also help to develop the curriculum that the head coaches will use to plan subject specific lessons each week. Members should be interested in the subject they are writing questions for, should ideally have some experience working with quiz bowl or middle and elementary aged children, and should be independent and self-motivated to complete tasks for weekly deadlines. Duties will include: expansion of resources through question writing; reviewing of current literature; and completing other tasks pertinent to the needs of the organization.
