SICP Blitz London
Starting the 3rd of June, 15 London hackers will attempt a blitz of Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs (SICP), completing 3 exercises from each chapter of SICP over 6 weeks, one chapter a week after the kickoff.

There'll be a initial meeting to meet each other and talk over the format. Each subsequent week we'll meet to discuss the chapter  we read & look at any exercises that were particularly interesting. You can use any language you like - anything with closures should be able to solve the exercises in a SICP-like fashion. SICP is available online at http://mitpress.mit.edu/sicp/full-text/book/book.html.

The blitz is sponsored by ApiAxle (http://apiaxle.com/) and SidekickJS ( https://www.sidekickjs.com ).

SICP is a book that will repeatedly blow your mind. You owe it to yourself as a programmer to check it out, so sign up for the blitz!
