Brazilian choreographer Marcelo Evelin will be in Utrecht this May, to present his show Uirapuru. While
he is here, we will investigate options for collaboration for his upcoming Bananada
which will be performed at SPRING Festival in 2026. For Bananada,
Marcelo invites a group of locals to join the stage with his familiar dancers
from Brazil. Come to the workshop with Marcelo and two dancers, to meet, exchange, chat and
move. To discover if there is interest in joining Marcelo’s project next week,
or to just have an inspiring time.
This
workshop will be open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Professional
experience is not necessary. It is important that participants are comfortable
with physical touch, and are familiar with making processes.
