Granate invites you to pause your daily rhythm and embrace creation in a context of dialogue, inspiration, and openness — one that also encourages the appreciation of nature, gastronomy, and meaningful personal connections.

The deadline for applications is July 15, 2025.Manoir de la Moissie where the creative residency is located, is a 16th century hunting lodge built on the mound of an old feudal castle. We are located in the beautiful village of Belvès, in the Périgord Noir, Dordogne.

The open call is addressed to those seeking to develop their artistic practice in a professional context, through projects involving experimentation, research and/or critical reflection. Artists over the age of 21 who are not currently enrolled in academic programs are eligible to apply. Applicants may work in any medium but must have at least two years of professional experience and a record of participation in several exhibitions.

Selection committee:Candidates will be chosen by our selection committee composed of : Esther Almansa, Granate's Director, Sierra Stahl-Yohalem, the Residency Director, Xavier Eltono, Creative Director.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the following criteria:
- Artistic quality and merit
- Proposed residency project (concept and technical feasibility)
INCLUDED:- A private bedroom with ensuite bathroom at “Manoir de la Moissie”
- Half board 4 days a week : breakfast and family style dinner
- Access to cupboard and kitchen.
- A table and chair to work in your room.
- Use of common spaces: 2 shared studios (1 indoor, 1 indoor/outdoor), kitchen, living and dining room, gardens...
- Pick up/drop off from the local train station or Bergerac airport.
