LATH Digital Team - Interest Form
The LA Trail Hikers are looking for some great outdoor and tech savvy volunteers to be part of their LATH Digital Team. We are looking to expand LATH by providing a stronger digital presence and become a great resource for lovers of nature, whether they hike with our trail team or not. If you would like to be part of a growing organization that is already making an impact out in nature make to let us know how you can help others from a digital front.

SOCIAL MEDIA
We're looking for individuals who can be great team players and work with us on developing our social outreach through social media. We use these accounts to update our hikers about LATH hikes & events (which we also create), post local outdoor news, share great hiking related tips & stories, and interact with our followers & the digital outdoor community.

Things we may ask, not all have to be yes:
Do you manage other social media accounts? Are you good at keeping up with an online audience? Are you good at answering people quickly? Are you good at keeping up with timely or schedule posts? Can you find great hiking/outdoor articles/images to share with others? Are looking to help others learn more about hiking? Can you attend our hikes to post updates or pictures from the hikes?

Our website is one of our main communicating mediums that host information about upcoming hikes and the group. However, it does take some work and it's an area that needs a bit of help in both maintaining pages and links up to date. In addition, we're looking to expand by possibly having outdoor-related articles written by our own volunteers.

VIDEO MEDIA
We are looking to expand in producing small outdoor educational videos that will be valuable to our hikers. So we're looking for people who have an eye for capturing video (on their phone or camera), those who might have experience editing on simple software and those who may want to be the person behind the scenes as the interviewers. These videos will be posted to our social media accounts to be shared for our hikers to learn from. How can you help us in this area?
