Join the Democratic Women’s Council of Horry County

Membership is open to all women who are registered voters in Horry County for $20 per year. Associate memberships (non-voting) are available for $10 per year to men who are Horry County registered voters and to all non-Horry County registered voters. New members may join for $10 from July through December with renewal of $20 due in January. All voting members sign-up for a committee when joining or renewing their membership. We typically meet the 3rd Thursday of the month at happy hour (4:00 or 5:00, seasonal) in Myrtle Beach. Dates and times change on special occasions and are communicated via email, website and social media. Monthly programs include a guest speaker and networking. Members and guests are invited to order drinks or food from the menu at their own expense.

Our annual project is a Scholarship Essay Contest for Horry County public high school students. Winners are awarded scholarships to the college of their choice.
