Palstone Park belongs to the community and for the last forty years has been run by volunteers. The current volunteers want to make sure that there are adequate resources to provide care of the facilities at the Rec in the long term to ensure future generations will be able to enjoy this great community facility. The Association must now attract new volunteers and secure its financial future either through a membership fee or finding additional income generating uses. This consultation is aimed at finding out how many of the community of South Brent support or use the recreation facilities and how it should be managed and financed in the future.   THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP

 If volunteers were not available, the Association will have to employ a co-ordinator/organiser to assist in the running of the Recreation facility. The Recreation Ground currently raises most of its own finances. If we were to employ someone, we would have to raise money to fund this.
