B-READY Teen Staff Application 2018/19
Working for St. Stephen's Youth Programs gives you access all of the programming we have to offer. This position is for teens between the ages of 15 and 18 years old in the Boston area. Teen staff receive ongoing job training, professional development, and supervision. CITs work as tutors, mentors and role models for younger students. Community Organizers work on campaigns that address the underlying structural causes of oppression and inequality and create material change in their neighborhoods. Both positions work 10 hours per week.

CITs work at one of our 2 sites: South End and Lower Roxbury. They mentor, tutor and supervise elementary school and middle school- aged young people. Community Organizers are based at our Lower Roxbury site. They work on campaigns that address the underlying structural causes of oppression and inequality and create material change in their neighborhoods. They also receive ongoing job training, professional development, and supervision.
