Saharawi Solidarity Summit 2027
Solidarity Rising cordially invites you to attend the Sahrawi Solidarity Summit, a solidarity conference in the Saharawi refugee camps close to Tindouf in Algeria.

At the previous edition, held in 2025, we welcomed around 70 participants from 16 countries including a majority of Saharawi civil society organizations, parliamentarians, activists and students from all over the world. 

The dates for the next edition have yet to be confirmed. By filling out this form, you can register your interest and receive updates as soon as more information becomes available.

Our team at Solidarity Rising will guide and assist you with everything from getting your Algerian visa, choosing the right flight, providing a document with everything you need to think about when travelling to the camps. We will also be available to answer any and all questions you have in regard to your participation.

Your participation in this conference sends a message of hope to the Saharawi people that they are not forgotten, and we look forward to joining hands in the struggle for a just resolution for the Saharawi people.

How we handle data
We understand that sharing your personal information can feel unsafe. We take our responsibility for handling personal data very seriously. The information that is sent to us will only be used for the purpose of processing the visa application. We follow the regulations under the GDPR law and have safety protocols to make sure it’s being followed. Which includes that only a few people in our team will be working with the visas. These members have a high engagement in the organisation and understand the responsibility that comes with this task. Access to our email is restricted, meaning only the members working with the visa applications will be able to have access. In terms of risk assessments, the password for our email account will be changed on a regular basis to minimize security risks. When collecting data, folders will be locked and will only be visible for the members working with the visas. Once the process is complete, all personal information we hold will be deleted from our system.
